How do I check if a UK peptide seller is legit?

Open the certificate of analysis the seller publishes and check four things: an independent lab is named (Janoshik or Aspen, not in-house QC), the certificate names the seller itself as the client rather than a factory or another brand, it verifies on the lab's own website by its unique code, and it is recent with a batch that matches your vial. If any of those fail, treat the claim as marketing.

We take no money from any vendor, we rank purely on whether a seller publishes its own-name Janoshik certificate you can check yourself, and, unlike the marketing lists, we also publish a watch list of the sellers you can't verify. Of 326 active UK sellers we audit, only 30 (9%) pass.

Honest answer: there is no single "best shop". There are UK sellers whose testing you can independently verify, and sellers whose you can't. Of 326 active UK sellers we audit, only 30 (9%) publish an own-name Janoshik certificate you can check yourself on the lab's own website. The other 296 do not: they show nothing, a borrowed certificate, a self-made one, or "on request". The green list below is those 30, ranked by most recent verified certificate. How to read this

The green table is the sellers whose testing you can independently verify today. "Own name ✓" means the Janoshik certificate names the vendor itself as the client, not a factory or a borrowed report, so it's their stock being tested and you can confirm it on Janoshik's own site. Price is the cheapest listed BPC-157 10mg as of 6 August 2026, a like-for-like cost yardstick only: it may have changed since, and a lower price is not a sign of better testing. Popular "best" picks that don't survive a check

These are names that surface when people, and increasingly AI assistants, get asked for the "best" UK peptides. They lean hard on the Janoshik name. But open the actual certificate and it isn't theirs, or there isn't one yet:

None of this proves a scam. It means the evidence you would rely on does not check out, so you are trusting marketing. Contrast that with the 30 verified sellers above, whose certificates you can open on Janoshik's own site right now.

What to actually look for (works on any vendor, anywhere)

1. A batch-specific COA from a named independent lab

Not "available on request," not the vendor's own "in-house QC." If the issuing lab isn't named on the document, you can't verify it. Janoshik and Aspen are the names the serious end of the market uses.

2. The vendor's own name as the client

A real certificate names who paid for the test. If it names a Chinese factory, another shop, or nobody, it's borrowed, and it tells you nothing about the vial they'll send you.

3. It verifies on the lab's own website

Janoshik has a public verify page. Type in the report code; if it doesn't come up, or there's no code at all, treat the PDF as decoration.

4. Identity, not just purity

"99% pure" is meaningless without an identity test (mass spec) proving it is actually the compound on the label. High purity of the wrong thing is still the wrong thing.

5. A recent date and a matching batch/lot

A two-year-old certificate, or one whose lot number doesn't match your vial, tells you nothing about what you are holding.
